Katie's sister is marrying Katie's ex-boyfriend and Katie desperately needs a date for the wedding. Katie's mother sets up a date with her best friend's nerdy son, Howie. But it turns out Howie is no longer a nerd. He now goes by his middle name, Jackson, and he is every woman's dream. Katie and Jackson hit it off immediately. They seem to be the only sane people at what promises to be the wedding from hell. This is a cute love at first (or second) sight short story. Katie's mother was very funny. My rating: 3.5 Stars. I saw this book in my Kindle and was amazed I had let a Susan Mallery book sit unread, that is not like me. And since I had just got down reading a emotional roller coaster, I knew this was the perfect book to read afterwards. Simply put, Mallery does not fail to make you laugh with witty, sometimes smart mouthed characters, and always with a great love story in there as well. I am beyond happy I picked this book to lift my spirits and get me going again. I was laughing so hard at one point my daughter wanted me to read sections of the book to her. Hopefully in 3-5 years I'll have raised another Susan Mallery fan, she just needs to finish growing up first. Highly recommend this book, very fast paced, funny, happily ever after, read.
What do You think about Sister Of The Bride (2010)?
It was funny but I'd have loved it to be longer.
