I was so eager to see how Tibby, Bridgette, Lena and Carmen were going into their 30's...the first few chapters left me devastated, heartbroken and honestly wishing I never started it. For those who are avid Friends enthusiasts...I wanted to stick it in the freezer. But I decided I needed to fully understand and knew I wouldn't until almost the end. I am happy I didn't put it in the freezer, or throw it against the wall like I wanted to when I started it. I think this series will always be among my most treasured. I was disappointed with how this book started. I felt the author could have at least given her a voice before taking it away all the while managing not to give anything away. And adding to that I was annoyed with the girls who were all seemingly still girls despite nearing thirty. So I'm more than surprised that I'm at the end of the book and feeling like it reached a level of redemption. But I'm glad to be able to move on from the sisterhood and close this chapter for good.
I had only read the first book in the series but that didn't stop me from enjoying the last one!

Well...that was depressing. And does anyone else want to smack Lena or is it just me?

Not high literature, but an excellent series.

Better this series was a struggle though
