I love a good werewolf story, and I'd been meaning to get this for a while. I finally bought it, and I could only go an hour into the 4 hour story before I just had to stop. The premise seemed interesting, but the execution is a little off. The heroine is understandably upset, but she is performed with a very annoying voice. So that leaves me with both a bad story and bad performance. I took advantage of Audible's return with this one. Ugh. The heroine was well written and believable, the story cute. But I hate the world , it sounds awful! Post apocalypse, with women stealers everywhere, no Internet no telephones no modern medicine, and she's stuck with the whims of pack law where if her alpha husband is beaten in a battle, she's at the mercy of new alpha. I would hate being stuck there and feel so bad for any future heroines, so I can't read the series.

just finished reading this book and could not put in down. looking forward to reading book two

Great premise. There were a few plot issues but I enjoyed it as light reading. Bought book 2.
