Snow White And Rose Red: The Curse Of The Huntsman (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
I love a story that takes a fairytale and makes it more. Some try to take the magic out of it. This one did not. She left it in there and made it a star. It is a lovely little story about two of my favorite fairytale characters. All of the important parts are there, witch, poisoned apple, hearts, etc., but with a new spin on it. There was a part at the end that didn't seem to make sense with the beginning. That bothered me a little. Overall, very enjoyable quick read. I liked this retelling of Snow White. We get introduced to a younger sister, Rose Red, and I really enjoyed the dynamic between them. I did not like how short this story was. I would like to know more about the Snow White/Hunstman & Rose Red/William dynamic. I read another person's review that this would make a great serial and I have to agree. This could make a great serial. This was a great quick read, but I would like to know more.
