A very engaging and thrilling read. Having been to Bali a couple of times before makes it even more exciting to know that there's another world apart from the one I was in - the tourist one. To know that I might have actually walked past the drug dealers at Seminyak or met some of the Laskar members at Bounty yet never for a moment imagine they were dangerous people. Gave me chills. I love how Kathryn Bonella pieced everything together with appropriate moments of suspense. An amazing book, this one. Now to go on a Kathryn Bonella hunt starting with Hotel Kerobokan. This book was suggested by one of my friends when she went travelling to Bali. Snowing in Bali turns out to be a euphemism to drug dealing in the Land of Gods, Bali.I’ve been watching too much TV shows on drug dealing like the “Breaking Bad” but nothing comes close to explaining the actual and insightful details liken to these lives of the drug dealers - dealing with their nasty trades and how they spurge their money.Hedonistic lifestyle, back stabbing…everything speaks dirty in their lives. What a cover up and I can’t wait to get my hands on Hotel K. This book’s really addictive.
What do You think about Snowing In Bali (2012)?
Wow. I didn't know a book on drug trafficking could be so enticing.
