I liked this one, although not as much as the first one. I found myself liking Jack Henry some of the time and disliking him at other times. However, I liked Laurelyn all of the time. I thought that she was one of the more like able protagonists I've read and she was always ready to punish Jack Henry when he was misbehaving (which happened to be way more than once). I missed the nice development of their love from the first book, but I also liked seeing them tackle their obstacles in this one. Over all, it was a good read and I'm looking forward to reading the next one. Storyline: 5/5; This book gave exactly the same vibe as the first book. The only difference was the storyline. Jack is in the states trying to get Laurelyn to go back to Australia with him. But it's still the same POV, it's still the same tone, still funny and cute and sweet. It made me ahppy to see both of the character's accomplishments/progress as compared to the first book. I love them together!Female Lead: 5/5; Laurelyn is still one of my favorite female leads. She was so reasonable in this book. She figured out what she wanted and then instead of being crazy about it, she made an appropriate decision to not be completely selfish and abandon her responsibilities. Plus she went through shit in this book but she didn't let is break her which is highly commendable. Male Lead: 6/5; I love how Jack was always so considerate of Laurelyn's needs and wants. He knew that she needed to pursue her dream so he let her without being a little bitch about it. He let her know that he wanted her with him no matter what and then that was it. He waited for her because he had faith in her. And he knew her well enough to know that the life on tour wasn't what she really wanted. Props to Jack. Relationship: 6/5; There isn't much to say about this that I didn't say in the last book's review. The main thing that changed in their relationship is that they did the whole long distance thing. Which was thankfully not as drawn out as other long distance relationships. Jack and Laurelyn are just two freaking awesome people who are awesome together and will make awesome babies and be an awesome family. Supporting Characters: 5/5; Still loved Jack's family. His mom is amazing. I loved how she totally took Laurelyn in as her own daughter. Then there was Laurelyn's band mate (I forgot his name) who was totally nice and seems like a genuine person that just was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ending: 5/5; Happy ending! The author said that there isn't going to be another book but there is! Yay! The ending is happy in this book but it's still great that there is more of Laurelyn and Jack. :DD
