I decided to read this book because I was convinced that I needed an extra long epilogue on the story about Drew and Fable. They're the ones with whom we all started to read these series and let me just say that I'm still in love with both of them. I even started to fall for Owen and not just Drew. I think that's what made me buy 'For years later'. That's the next book in these series and it's about our Owen. The book starts with Drew and Fable being engaged (that's where their story left us off). They're so in love that you get a flashback to when they were just together. "I loved that girl. Fiercely. And I love the woman she is now, just as Fiercely. She's my fiancée, my future wife, the future mother of my children. Fable is the woman who will always stand by my side forever." Drew is eager to get married, he's worried that when he really gets into the NFL rotation that there won't be any time to get married, so that's when he asks her to get married as soon as possible. She agrees and a week later they're getting married on a beach in Hawaï. It's so romantic that I had to shed a tear while reading it. "We're freaking married now. My legal name is Fable Callahan. Drew callahan is my husband. Wild, huh? I am one, lucky girl. And I know it."When the have been married for over a year Fable really wants to start thinking about babies. But when she expresses that urge to Drew he just ... Chickens out, I guess. And I know that's normal for a guy, but I wouldn't have thought that Drew would be reacting like that. They get in a fight about it, but even though they're angry at each other they don't shut each other out. And MARSHALLOW still does the trick. They both know they have been overreacting. So when Drew text her:My beautiful wife, I willAways love youRespect you. You're Sweet and sexyHot and temptingMy love for you isAll consumingLucky me to have found LoveOnlyWith you. They kiss and make love. But Fable finds out that she's pregnant a couple of weeks later. And according her counting the weeks back it must've happened on the night they had the baby fight. Isn't Karma great? Drew is actually excited end can't wait for the baby to come. Adventiously the little girl comes along. There was a bit of a concern because Drew wasn't in town when she got into labour but he made it on time for the birth of little Autumn. This was probably the most needed epilogue ever. I loved Drew and Fable. I also thought that Owen made a lot of progression in the book. He seems to be really growing up. He also got that cool humour around him. Yes,I will for sure fall in love with him in the next book! It was a nice read, the kind we can do without but does answers some questions we sometimes have about characters we like. Here is a bit of what the 'happily ever after' of Drew and Fable is made of, with some ellipses of several weeks and months between some chapters. As I liked the third book less than the first two, here I enjoyed to have the focus back on Drew and Fable. I guess it also serves as a good introduction for Four Years Later as this novella happens during that gap of time.C'était une lecture sympa, le genre dont on peut se passe mais qui répond à quelques questions qu'on peut parfois se poser sure les personnages qu'on aime.
