This is a very well written book, very entertaining plot and will keep you hooked until the end. Our main character, Ember, is a young teenager who sees dead people. She thinks she might be crazy, but that is nothing compared to what is about to happen in her life. She is introduced to a whole new world of craziness, with vampires, witches and ghosts, and she quickly she finds out that she is not completely normal, when her hidden powers start emerging. This book has all ingredients to be a success among young adults. It will keep you reading late into the night.I bough this book from amazon.com and opinion expressed here is my own. If your looking for a semi quick read this is your book. It draws you in with it's two man characters Em (Ember and Nate) and Nathan. It's got witches and vampires and demons. Ember is a fire witch but doesn't know it. And is kidnapped by Nathan and is to bring her to her Grandmother that she has not seen since she was eight years old. Ember falls in love with her kidnapper on the way to her grandmother's. She is being chased by a demon who wants her for himself.
