I found this author and book, for free, on BookBub (a great free service, by the way!). Free and reduced-price books nearly every day.Truthfully, I didn't know what to expect, and therefore had pretty low expectations. :)The book was a fun read, certainly not groundbreaking, but the characters are likable, and believable, with enough depth to make the book worthwhile. I liked it well enough that I bought the subsequent 2 books in the trilogy.I do like the main female character -- (SPOILER ALERT) although she ends up with the guy, in the end, she does it pretty much on her own terms.Worth the read. The plot was laid out well. We start reading about the problems of a woman and her -ex-husband and then find them "lost in time", having to live in an era when the 13 colonies were fighting for Independence. But for the hero and heroine, there was something strangely familiar in that period of time!Perhaps this story sets us to dreaming--could we too be willing to go back and live in the past? Good character developement with often humourous dialogues! A nice book for a pleasant read
What do You think about Somewhere In Time (2012)?
Fairly predictable, yet interesting. A fun read.
