Wow!...this book was recommend to me by another viewer and I’m so glad she did. This was an awesome book. Very heartfelt. You will fall in love with the hero and heroine. I absolutely loved the chemistry between the H/H and the chemistry felt so normal and realistic…like when he would just touch her face or breathe upon her neck out of the blue. My heart went out to both the H/H for different reasons…all the horrible things the heroine went through and survived and stayed strong through it all. Her ability to find love in someone (the hero)…was heartwarming. I absolutely loved the fact the author made the hero a virgin as well. He was a strong, determine, no nonsense man who loved his family and took care of business when necessary without hesitation and yet he was still innocent and was ashamed…When they both became intimate for the first time….I could have cried…he was sooo vulnerable and open…which you do not see a lot of in these romance books… Kudos to the author for such lovely writing and creation of these characters… I can’t wait until I read it again. I received this book through Goodreads First Reads program, and I am very thankful that I did! The thing that really dragged me into this book was the repeatability of the characters. Anne-Sophia is dealing, and has dealt with a lot of struggles before she found herself at Lord Devon's door. And then there is Lord Devon.... Wilhelm, who is probably my favorite character. He is not damaged in the typical way in romances, a type of damage that makes him sexier... he is actually nuro-atypical, and possibly on the autism spectrum. It made him a fascinating character to read about. And mean that his and Anne-Sophia's relationship is also something new and interesting. My only problem with this book was occasionally the pacing. At times it seemed to drag, and at other times there where jumps at awkward moments that left you feeling a little left out of the story. I feel like the story line may have fit better as a series rather than a single book, because the book seemed to have too many plot points and not enough time for all of them.Over all though, I did enjoy this book quite a bit and it has earned a place on my bookshelves!
What do You think about Song For Sophia (2013)?
I loved this book when I read it, and the audio book is equally excellent. Very highly recommended.
