First of all, for those who doesn't like menage scenes, you don't have to worry. There is only one and it's done really well. It seems right.The BDSM is how I like it, light, hot and coherent with the story. The need of it makes sense.That being said, I loved it. Marie Sexton did a really good job with the characters and their growth. Their development is beautiful and I love how their romance blossomed and made them free. I loved Olsa, her bad temper but also her tenderness. She may be blind but she sees so much more than every one combined.The Old People stories are interesting and the paranormal added some excitement with a little mystery.It was really well written and I totally enjoyed it. I highly recommend it. First and foremost I enjoy Marie Sexton's writing, so I bought this just because I saw her name. I knew nothing about it in advance. If you asked me now to explain it I would tell you I have no idea how to do that. Okay, okay here is a shot. It's a fantasy, romance, western, whew. The story starts with us meeting Aren, who is relocating because of a messy turn ugly relationship. He's an interesting complex character second only to Deacon who's even more complex. The setting is a ranch with animals that are a bit surreal. There are evil deadly creatures that we never actually see but are feared throughout the story. But of course the true pain is caused by humans. I liked it. I really, really liked it. I was intrigued and I never got bored. Sexton has a habit of not shortchanging the reader by rushing the ending, she lets it happen. Yahoo.
