DNF. Another freakin' DNF, but I persevered to 40%. The whole premise was promising, it had shades of Underworld in it which I loved. Unfortunately, for the first 30% of the book, we have to listen to what I now know are Ayden's idle threats towards Kane. "I'm going to rip your spine out", "I'm going to enjoy killing you"... blah blah blah. Over and over, we get it. You want to kill him, great, so shit or get off the pot, babe. And apparently, she wanted him in captivity so she could interrogate him. She's had him for 2 days now and all she does is talk about killing him. If this is supposed to be suspenseful, then I can't wait until an actual killing scene comes along. It just may take away my insomnia.Another thing to point out - Ayden was also attacked and bit by a lycan, same as Kane. So what makes Kane a piece of shit, but not her? "Your kind", as she kept telling Kane should actually be "our kind". High and mighty twit. I have no patience to see how this will end, because I don't much care. There was so much going in this book that I had originally decided not to write a review. Too lazy. But I felt I had to say something even if it is short. This book was basically filled with every supernatural being you can imagine. Demons, lycans, lycan slayers, trolls, succubus, etc. Despite all that I thought the author pulled it all together to make this an exciting and enjoyable read for me. It was full of action, emotion, surprises and yes, sexy demons. Looking forward to reading more about the Wrath brothers!
What do You think about Soul Avenged (2013)?
So many good 5 star reviews I can hardly add anything new. I can't wait for Keri's next book!
