This book was absolutely amazing! I read it back in 2011 and couldn't stop thinking about it since. I couldn't remember the name of it but now that I've finally found the book again, I cannot wait to get back and read it all over again! The way this book is written is truly amazing, the world of these creatures is absolutely not what you'd expect. The magic and the beauty is man still there, but the happy fun time feel is definitely not. It's actually what a real fairy realm would probably be like. The adventures she goes on are very interesting, and I absolutely loved the ending. It was a perfect conclusion to a perfect book. This is by far one of my all time favourites. For romance lovers and fantasy buffs everywhere. Picked up on a whim at the local library, and devoured within the day. Knife is an amazing character, within the absolutely amazingly intricate world R.J Anderson has created. Very far from Tinker Bell; these fairies are about the opposite of the spectrum, as far as mostly benevolent fairy species go, which I liked a lot. I loved just the whole story of it; no glittery pixie dust tree for these little gems. And the whole regeneration process thing; loved it. Very cool. The ending made me cry with joy. All in all, a great fantasy read.
What do You think about Spell Hunter (2009)?
I read this when I was like 10? I think it was part of a series but never got around to the rest...

Refreshing take on faerie tales - a good mix of romance, adventure and mystery.

Not the kind of thing I would normally read but it wasn't too painful
