A fast paced but intriguing read about MMA fighters. The relationship between Zane and Melanie happened quickly and was super hot, explosive and sexy. I enjoyed the characters in this book, especially Melanie, she wasn't afraid to go after what she wanted, whether it was a championship MMA fight, a relationship with Zane or just kicking someone's ass. She was a bit needy when it came to acceptance from her dad but what little girl isn't, its just weird how her dad was just so cold towards her for no apparent reason.Overall it was an enjoyable read, a bit mysterious but that made it a better read. A great read with lots of action, some really steamy love-scenes, and a female protagonist that kicks butt. Literally. Not your standard MMA because the female fights, too!Melanie wants to get into the MMA rings that she's grown up around, watching her brother. She's not afraid of the hard work or of breaking a nail. I like her strength, and I loved her attitude. She's not going to take no for an answer.Hot men, deceit, and some intriguingly mysterious circumstances make this an enjoyable read!
