I was given this book for an honest review. 3starsThis book was extremely hard for me to give stars to. To start things off, I think authors have a tough job to keep us totally focused without pictures and only using words. I also going to add I'm not going to give a synopsis in this review either because I wouldn't know how to start it. Now the whole story concept is very good, that's why I wanted to read it, but it fell short. I would say two thirds of the book was all over the place and that was very frustrating. The main character eleanor was strong, broken and very much someone that you wanted to save. To say the least, her story was a good one to tell. But I'm here to say that even though she is all of that, the jumping around made me want to stop reading. I would get into part of the story then they would jump to something else. J the other main character, he was too secretive. To much is out there and you just can't get a read on this guy. So right now I can say I don't like him and can't relate to him. Now the last third of the book starts to tie things together, but still it was a little too late. I lost interest and well that is upsetting to me.This is a cliffhanger, so if you like this author, I would read her book. If I was looking for a new author to read, I would also try her. Though I was not a fan of this book, I will be looking to read another book from this author because like I said before, an authors job is hard and well I would want someone to give me a chance. This is no normal motorcycle club….I loved watching this story develop as Elle let her ice melt as J’s steel shattered…. They opened up their protected hearts to one another…. Taking the risk to let love in…..J is a hot, badass giant of a man who does business for a MC, he wants out of….. He is a man of mystery…..Elle is a strong independent woman who has learnt the hard way in life but has finally got her shit together….The thought of letting anyone in to her life terrifies her but J makes her feel safe so she trusts him with her most precious gift….. Her heart…. As J and Elle continue to open up to each other….. The mystery of J’s business dealings is always there waiting to explode around them….. The question is can Elle handle knowing the truth or will it just end up hurting her???I loved this book and fast became lost into Elle’s world, simply keeping it real…. The ending left me a grasp as I did not see it coming….. I need more like yesterday and cannot wait for next instalment.This is an amazing debut novel and the start to a fabulous series I can foresee becoming one of my faves…..
