I'm completely speechless. Stepbrother Dearest was so not what I expected. It was everything that I needed in that moment. Though there was major heartbreak around every corner, I was in love with this story. It filled me with hope - strange, I know. Hope that true love stops at nothing, and that faith will bring everyone that belongs together, together - no matter what. I want what Elec and Greta have, maybe minus the odd family situation, but I still want it.I started reading this on the 31st of December, perfect way to end the year 2014.I finished reading this on the 1st of January, perfect way to start 2015 and spend my birthday. Good book. Too ... dramatic for my taste. I mean - they parted for 7 years!!! And they knew each other for not even a year!!! But it was ... well, I was not able to put it down. I considered not finishing it but while Elec was a total jerk so much, the thing he said afterward are a wet dream of every woman. And I liked the endish end, how he grew up. The thing with two points of wiev through his book was definitely interesting (but the dialogs was exactly like they should be - they matched the real events which you may not realize is wrong but WHO can REMEMBER SO MUCH AND SO PRECISELY???) The anagrams bothered me (dunno why) but I truly liked a few of them.Helped it was translated to czech (love english but I can read more quickly this way). Overall, not bad read. It was a ride, brought me to tears and all that jazz. So good.P.S: Greta? GRETA???? Such a name ... At least: greta = great
