Penny is the daughter of Richard Tipping, a high ranking British government official. While enjoying an extended tropical holiday before resuming her law studies, she is kidnapped and held to pressure her father to help an innocent man convicted and awaiting death on a drug smuggling charge. The title is derived from a condition known as the Stockholm Syndrome where a hostage experiences a bond with her captor, whether out of sympathy, empathy or some other emotion. In this instance it is caused by pure lust. Being bound and virtually helpless, Penny realizes that she wants to be used, abused and violated by her captor. This adds a new twist to an old subject, making this book more complete than most that rely on their torrid sexual scenes. I am constantly amazed at the vivid imaginations and unbridled sexual fantasies that flow from the female mind. I was always under the impression that men were the ones that had sex on their minds twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. This must be a false assumption as many of the fantasies thought up and written down are done so by women. This book will never win a prize or make the New York Times bestseller list but it has just enough twist to raise it above other stories in its class. This book isn’t for everyone but may be just right for a chosen few. I went into his Naughty Nooner with such high hopes. I mean anything titled Stockholm Seduction you know has to be a slight BDSM tale, with a little bit of kidnapping, and a dash of “Oh no mister kidnapper, I don’t think you’re a hunky stud, please don’t keep me tied up while you have your wicked way with me.” (Yes, I know I’m mildly disturbed.) However, what I got was a short that was a bit too short. He came and it was over. Oh, no, I kid you not! Right when the story hit a crescendo and you were near ready to tip off whatever chair, or bed, you were reading this on. It was cut off! I felt like someone was waving their finger at me going “No no, you don’t get any more you naughty girl!” I felt like rolling my eyes and instantly giving the story one star. I found myself rambling at midnight that is when I read these naughty short of course. How dare the author do this to me! Or to anyone that read this story started to love it, to get into it, to revel in the total forbidden nature of it, and them SLAM! The door shuts right in your face and you are shaking your head going, “Are you kidding me!” Now, on a better note, and I never leave a review without saying something good. Oh yes, I’m one of THOSE book reviewers. I believe being positive is good for the Soul. The story was a good one. If she had lingered on with just a little bit more, I would be raving in this review. It was sexy, it was smart the idea of it. Pretty much these free reads from Ellora’s Cave are like a quickie. You’re in, you’re out, and you are panting and straightening your clothes. This one I didn’t even get time to get disheveled. I so wish I had gotten just a little bit more. Maybe a 1,000 more words and I could lay back and smile wistfully at my naughty read.

Glad she's written a full length novel now. This quickie, IMO, did not have a satisfying ending...
