AHHHH ONE OF THE BEST SERIES EVER. HANDS DOWN. THESE ARE WORSE THAN DRUGS. TOO ADDICTING. I'M GOING TO SUFFER FROM THE LONG WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT BOOK. JUST FINISHED WAITING 10 MONTHS FOR THIS AND NOW ANOTHER 7 MONTHS FOR THE NEXT. IS SHE TRYING TO KILL ME? Suffering aside, J. Lynn's books never cease to amaze me. The feels. Ugh. Honestly she's made it impossible to pick whether Layla's going to pick Zayne or Roth. This is a must read series. To pass time, can anyone reccomend me books as awesome as this one was (might be impossible, but who knows?). I finished reading this book a few days ago and I am still caught up in the aftermath of the heightened feelings that are just rolling off of me. As an avid reader I can say that not many books are able to not only take a space in your bookshelf but also take a place in your mind and stay alive in you even when the last page was slammed shut days and months ago. I wish the third book was already out but until then I guess I'll have to buy my own personal copy of Stone Cold Touch and reread it as much as possible in order to keep these feelings alive until the next book is out. This book gave me goose pimples, heart palpitations, hot flashes..... The list is endless. The first book is no way as good as the second book because this really trumped it. I dont necessarily enjoy reading a series. Most series just deliver a knock out first book and as the series progresses, the story looses its momentum and just becomes a drag. This was not the case here. Jennifer L. Armentrout made a heck of a comeback the second time round and I hope she keeps it up for her third book in this series. I must say that if you want to understand Zayne and Layla, you have to start with the "first book" "Bitter Sweet Love". I read this book after reading "White Hot Kiss". After reading the small prequel novella and I really enjoyed seeing Layla and Zayne's relationship through a third party's view. I love the relationship Layla has with both of the heroes in this book; Zayne and Roth. Although it is difficult to say whether Roth is a hero or an antagonist in most cases but his feelings for Layla make this whole story not as clear cut as one would think. Jennifer has a superb way of potraying these characters' feelings to the reader. There is no way to know who will win Layla's heart wholeheartedly at this point. In the "White Hot Kiss", Roth clearly won that contest but in the second book Zayne clearly won that round. I cannot wait to read the next book. I believe I might be the only one who wants none of these heroes to lose the battle of Layla's heart.
What do You think about Stone Cold Touch (2014)?
It's always been Roth. I knew it. Team Roth no matter whatttt.
