She held out her arms to grab Daniel. “Text it to me, I’ll be downstairs hailing a cab. Here…” I gave her my number and started walking out the door. “You can’t just show up at her job Stone. She’ll get in trouble.” She shouted. “She already is.” I got in the elevator and walked out of the building in a hurry. All kinds of shit were running through my head. Like how I was going to go there and rip her boss’s head off if he even breathed the wrong way and, if she’s crying, my fist is going to do the talking. I’m the only person that can make her cry. Me. Only me. Clarissa sent me the text message with the address and I told the cab driver to step on it, I have business to take care of. He stepped on the gas and starts to go through red lights and stop signs because now I have a gun to the back of his head. “Give me your license.” I whisper.
