Like her Vampire Academy series, this finale left a bittersweet taste after finishing. Like even though the ending is obvious, that Georgina married Seth, was going to have a baby girl and everyone was happy for her, it also left some unanswered questions as to what happened to Maddie, Bastien and Roman? What about Jerome? Also, who exactly orchestrated Erik's murder? But I guess, like all books, some endings are left ambiguous so that the individuals' imagination can fill in the gaps. But yes, overall, bittersweet. Like a good finale book, there were twists and turns in the plot, rounded off sweetly for the readers. Over the time of this series, I believe Richelle's writing really improved, putting more detail and emotion into the characters, especially Georgina, Roman and Carter and my opinion is that the second half of the series is definitely better than the first. But then, credit where credit's due, Succubus Blues was Richelle's first ever published book. Hahaha I loved that all the immortal gang are now using Facebook! From the start you can feel that this book is going to have an explosive ending as Georgina ends up in Hells court with unlikely allies and lawyer. A loop hole has been found in her Soul Contract.A beautiful ending that brings all the little comments throughout the series together, I think this is the only book in the series you could not read as a standalone. The climax was one of those "I saw that coming from a mile away", but it wasn't lame or upsettingI could easily read this series over again many times, so lovely, so funny and wonderfully circular.

A very satisfactory conclusion to end the series. Very neatly wrapped up.
