So great! Another book that really held my attention. The characters are all so loveable! Sammy and Jake are just so precious. I really wanted them to work out. Kind of sad how it ended. What if they don't feel the same way next year or if he doesn't visit in the winter? Also loved Alex and Vince! Just so cute. Funny how everyone thought they'd hit it off and they did.everyone was just perfect. I really appreciate how the author writes. Looking forward to reading more of them! My first novel by Joan Gable. I loved it. Four sisters get together for a vacation at a lake in N. Minnesota after years of living apart. They had lost their parents in an accident when they were younger, raised by an Aunt. They all had issues stemming from the loss of the parents and how they viewed what happened to them individually after the parents death. Each sister has her own story and how she views her siblings. The solitude and peaceful surroundings at the same cabins and lake they had gone to with their parents years earlier, bring back memories that they had forgotten. The healing of the environment and the people they meet and learn to love turn lives around. I look forward to more of Gable's books.
This would make a good beach read. Nothing complicated here, just easy reading.

This book was ok, but it was too sappy and predictable. And way too long

Good fast read but predictable in every sense. Perfect for a beach read.
