(Oct) Reece tends to write somewhat over-the-top villians and in this book she really did a good job with that! The romance in this book was great, and the evil was truly evil - a psycho who kidnaps girls and keeps them as sexual playthings for himself and his followers in his "religous" compound. Of course, good triumphs over evil and the H/h have their HEA, but getting there was a (disturbing) good time - ocmpelling read! This was an ok read and had some good parts but overall I was not in love with the story or characters. Hope and Seth were hot and heavy when Seth breaks it off and goes undercover without telling Hope why. Five years later Seth is back wanting help finding his niece not knowing Hope worked for the agency. That is the full background given. 5 yrs and they are right back at it like rabbits but you still have little explanation of what went on in the 5 years and no real life stories to make you feel you know the characters. Most of all, the book was a little to twisted/perverted for me. I felt like the book could have easily been several chapters/pages shorter. A little drawn out without much benefit to it.
