I read mysteries like this as palette cleansers between heavier tomes, and, as such, this series performs that role admirably. Is it a great or important book? Of course not. Is Laurie Cass the new Agatha Christie? Not even close. Did it distract me without too much effort and keep me engaged? Yes. A simple book that successfully completes the task for which it was chosen; sometimes, that is all you want. I said it, with "Lending a Paw", and I'm saying it, again, I love Laurie Cass' writing style! "Tailing a Tabby" is second, in A Bookmobile Cat Mystery series.I just love, Eddie, Minnie's cat. Plus, Minnie is such a likable character. How could anyone not like her? Some of the same characters, from "Lending a Paw", are in "Tailing a Tabby", plus new ones. I like that Laurie keeps you guessing, 'til the end, without having you "chase your tail" (pun intended) throughout the story. The hardest part will be waiting for the next book, in the series...until then, Eddie & Minnie!
What do You think about Tailing A Tabby (2014)?
Cute mystery. I love this series. Eddie rocks! And so do BOOKMOBILES!
