Taken By The Storm (2004) - Plot & Excerpts

Well, I had a really good review all written for this book but my stupid computer deleted it before I could save it. So bear with me. This book was very frustrating at some points and pretty interesting in others. First thing that made me mad was that when all of Charlottes stuff was destroyed they did not even consult her before destroying all of her possessions. NOT COOL! Second, Tal was willing to have his brother marry the woman he loves. NOT COOL AT ALL!! He was so stubborn and bullheaded he really did not deserve Charlotte. If the author was trying to make the reader have strong emotions then it worked because this was exasperating and I am not sure yet if it is in a good way or not. Three Stars because it is in the middle. I liked this book. I've always been fascinated by the concept that there are other worlds out there so to find books that bring these worlds to life for me is just fantastic. The author did a great job describing things without bogging the story down. I also love how the author gave us the history behind the action taking place in this story. I hate it when you don't know why something is going on. Good character development, and I'm looking forward to seeing where this series goes.

What do You think about Taken By The Storm (2004)?

Wonderful story with strong hero and heroine who were at times pigheaded and frustrating.

Good, interesting story. Didn't feel that connected to the characters though.
