Any book that's set in the Highlands and has Scotsmen as the heroes I will always read. Taming a Wild scot is the first book in Rowan Keats new series. Ann Bisset is a healer with an extraordinary gift. Niall saves her from certain death and later uses her to help him prove his brother's innocence. This was a good story that followed the main characters through their building love. What I didn't like was that this is a series so their story really didn't end but will continue, I hope, in the next book. TAMING A WILD SCOT by Rowan Keats is an exciting Medieval Scottish Historical Romance set in 1286 Scottish Highlands. #1 in "A Claimed By the Highlaner" novel and what a beginning. A tale of passion, intrigue, mystery, danger, treachery and love. Follow Ana Bisset and Niall MacCurran on such a journey. Niall rescues Ana, a healer accused of murder, to later learn he needs her to further his quest to expose a treat to the realm. Fast paced and passion filled. Ms. Keats writes with passion, finesse, and captures the heart of the Scottish Highlander. "A Claimed by the Highlander" is a must read series. Not only will the rich Scottish scenery but her engaging characters and her captivating storyline is sure to capture your heart. A great new voice to the historical genre. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Scottish Highlanders, passion, and the lure of mystery.
