Great primer on beer, covering everything from styles to a brief history of beer and how it's made. It's accessible and well-written, perfect for someone like me who's just starting to get into the world of beer. Anyone who's still drinking that mass-produced stuff you can buy at the grocery store would benefit greatly from reading this book, using it as a guide as they test the many, many fantastic and surprising beer styles of the world. I picked up this book as recommended reading for the Cicerone certification program. The book talks about a lot of things from history of many styles and the countries of origin, to how to properly evaluate beer. There are many styles discussed in-depth and many off-flavors as well as common flavors in beer broken down. If you're a beer connoisseur or want to simply read a catch-all book about beer then this is a great place to start.
I'll file this away as a reference book. Some excellent points of pairing beer with food.

The most informative beer book I've ever read. Mosher absolutely nails it.
