So far I read all pages available (174) and I dunno. At first I liked the story, idea, it was even funny. But as I read more and more I liked it less and less. Though, I have to admit I´m kind of still curious about how the guys will end...so I chack the comic website from time to time. All in all I´m not much into this comic, but it´s not the worst I´ve read and it has some potential and idea. 3.5*Obviously you have to like manga to like such comics. It was my first foray into this style, I'm afraid to state, being much more a fan of the Heavy Metal and Belgian school. It is an enormous amount of detailed work, and it is well-drawn in itself, hence the 3.5 stars. But there are too many things I dislike to go up higher:I really dislike those feminised men, not as men in drag, or even drag queens, nor as in cross-dressing, no, except for the tits there's no difference at all between "bottoms" and actual women. Gah! Soooo not my thing. The brothel is presented as a perfectly fine job and mode of life, which is something I won't follow, especially in historical context. This might be presented like some Japanese Geisha house, but then even Japanese brothels still were and are brothels. Presenting interaction therein as some sort of alternate love-life is again something I find quite detestable. I respect the choices some whores make, can make, I respect the work, but really don't sell this to me as being a profession of choice for the majority. The "masculine" guys are pretty cookie-cutter in their behaviour, as are the "femme" boys, there's little differences between the various characters, and their universal harsh and unemotional behaviour on the outside is grating. I'd despair if all men I met were like this!
What do You think about Teahouse (2014)?
Love this. On-going online series. Just ordered the first four chapters in book form. :D
