This is my first book by Jamie Wesley and it won't be my last. Ms. Wesley has written a beautiful story of love and pain, healing, second chances, and moving on. Tell Me Something Good has wonderful characters with real flaws, real strengths, and real passion. Noelle and Tate's physical attraction is white hot, their desire for one another an unstoppable force. This book captivated me from the very beginning. Tate Grayson, a sports radio personality, doesn't believe in love. Not because he's cynical, but because he didn't grow up in the ideal environment with parents who showed each other love. Noelle Butler's dream is to one day find the love that her parents had. Until then she offers relationship advices to her callers.When these two radio hosts who are the exact opposite of one another end up paired together for a show of their own, what will happen between them? Tell Me Something Good is a magnetic book that captures your attention and doesn't let it go. Once you start reading, you can't put this book down. The chemistry between Tate and Noelle is truly amazing and I loved it. What I loved more is their passion and the way that both of then always have to be right. These two challenge one another in ways I've only seen played out in a Gilmore Girls episode in a scene between Tristan and Rory (Yes, I did just reference Gilmore Girls in this review. What can I say, I've watched nothing but season 1 reruns since I've been sick). Tate is your typical man's man, sports guy and the exact opposite of Noelle who is a bit of a nerdy doctor who thinks she knows everything there is to know about relationships. You'd never think this pairing would work together, but in a surprising way it does and the reader sees that they are actually pretty perfect for one another. Tate allows Noelle to loosen up and be a bit carefree in her life which has always been scheduled to a tee. Noelle makes Tate recognize that his parents are his parents and although things may not have worked out for them and his childhood was a bit rough, they did love him. Tell Me Something Good makes me wish we could hear Tate and Noelle on air. I'm sure that would be a great show to start your day to! Tell Me Something Good is a five star winner!
