This Victorian series is holding steady with its troubled pasts and dark hearts finding love and acceptance. It is at the point now where the family sounds ridiculous if you are meeting them for the first time, but you know and care about them if you've read the series in order. To the point where the Leo cliffhanger made me swear out loud. The hero in this one is the most appealing of the bunch, which helps make up for Poppy being a little weak. Recommended for historical fiction fans. Harry is the typical domineering alpha-male. I didn't enjoy the beginning as I felt the wild goose chase, or should I say, the wild ferret chase plus the sudden kiss was over the top. As I progressed the story turned more delicious until I had to devour it in a single sitting. My favourite part was when Valentine and the other hotel staff conspired to bring Poppy and Harry together.Looking forward to enjoy the other siblings' stories in this Hathaway series!
Best of the Hathaway series so far. It's official I'm a Lisa Kleypas addict.
