Well written and edited with just a couple of issues. This is stand-alone story with no cliffhanger. This is a very quick read and a charming small-town love story between two smart, mature people. It's a PG-rated romance, and the story ends a little abruptly but I'm forgiving all of that because both characters are just so likeable. The dialog was really snappy and entertaining. There's a lot of chemistry in their conversations. For anyone from a small town, the storyline about feeling pressure to conform to the expectations of the people you grew up with, the humiliation of everyone knowing all of your embarrassments and wanting to avoid more of those will feel very authentic.Strongly recommend. Haaave Mercy! Megan Crane did not disappoint and I had a hard time putting this book down!Chelsea has lived in Marietta her entire life. She is a teacher living with her mother and planning on turning the train depot into a museum. Que Jasper. He rides into town and makes the purchase of the depot with plans to turn it into brewery. While at first Chelsea is a bit upset about his plans, it doesn't take long for her to realize her attraction to Jasper in a huge way.Jasper was HOT and more often than not I was picturing Matthew McConaughey. While I absolutely loved this novella, I had given it 4 stars only because it was way too short. I finished the book wanting so much more of Jasper! I highly recommend this book!!
What do You think about Tempt Me, Cowboy (2013)?
Started too slow for me and I just could not get into this book. It just would not hold my interest.
