It's been awhile since I've read the first 4 books, so I picked up on books 5 and 6. Honestly, I'm not even sure how I ever finished reading these books, because I can't determine if it's suppose to be suspense or just verbal nonsense to fill the pages. It's the equivalent of having someone tell you about their day, only for them to account for every single unnecessary action. On top of that, we're into book 6 now, and Cassie still hasn't learned to use or control her powers! No wonder ppl want to kill her. She's a danger to society! Piss her off and you might end up in Ice Ages...on accident! While I like the storyline in general, all the excess verbiage, lack of character development, and cliche love triangle just doesn't do it for me. I'm halfway through this book and unlike previous ones..... I'm disappointed and it takes motivation to pick it up and continue on- I find there is not enough detail on the important scenes and TOO much detail on the boring stuff ..... I know when I'm bored with a certain part of a book because I skim the lines until I get to either a interesting part or a relevant part. Hopefully I can get through the rest without giving up on the series...... Okay got through it but extremely disappointed..... Not enough pritkin, and the stuff focused on cassie this book but was very boring stuff......
