Probably because of me. I should at least be down with Tara at the police station. It just doesn’t seem right that you and Maxim are doing all of the work while I sleep the night away. There must be something I can do to help.” Hunter hugged her more tightly against him. “You have no idea how much you are helping me by just being here with me, and I’m not saying that lightly. You may not see it, but I’m barely keeping a reign on my jaguar.
