Wow..pretty good climax you put in there, Author. I really wish I were the one to whom Dillon proposing in the elevator instead of Alyssa. That's kind of blissfully romantic. And the scene of the balcony and lower ballroom at the masquerade ball was wonderful, just like the wellknown act of Romeo & Juliet."I would marry you tonight if I thought for one second you'd agree to it. Because I already know there will never be anyone else I love as deeply as I do you.""This isn't about hereditary traits, bullshit curses, or math equations, Aly. It's love. You're either in it, or you aren't." - DillonWohoo..since when you turned from construction guy to such a poet, D? *giggle*I love Dillon's character. Having read another book by Gina, Seducing Cinderella, I stil prefer Dillon as Hero to Reid. And I vote for Alyssa over Lucie, because I thought Lucie's story was too miserable, being not wanted by first her unrequited love coworker then her childhood crush, even when in the end those two idiots noticed her beauty. Alyssa's character is a way lot stronger than her. Besides, I'm fancy the story of friendship turn into love, like this one.The ending involved some airport scene that heartwarming and funny as hell, even if in my opinion sounds rather ridiculous. But one conclusion can be gained from this book was Vegas being the city of impulsive love and action. Maybe if I'm lucky enough, I'll land my feet there in the future. *wink* This book was sooo good!! I loved Alyssa and Dillon. I enjoyed how they were friends their whole lives and kept this one secret from each other and they thought everyone else. Some of the stuff they said or thought made me laugh so hard! This book had me cheering for Dillon and urging Alyssa and her entourage to catch him. Trent was a great guy and I loved how he knew so many people and all of these people were willing to help someone they just met. I couldn't put this book down.
