Not your typical Sandra Brown mystery. Usually you think you know who done it but in the end you don't. Always a twist that throws you for a loop. Well in Smash Cut, you know who does it, why he does it, but it is so well written and the characters are so entwined that you have to follow along and find out how he gets caught. Can they save a victim? OH YEAH there is a twist at the end but I wont spoil that one for you. Go read it. Great Book. I received this book as a First Reads Win....and I'm so glad I did. I wanted to wait to read it when I could savor it...and it was well worth the wait. One of the best books I've read in a long time. At times bordering on psychological thriller. The characters were at first hard to pin down, as they changed and evolved with each new turn of events. There was always a hint of doubt cast over the main characters leaving me scratching my head. The WHO was fairly evident from the start, but the how, why and what remained elusive. A few shockers thrown in and it's a well rounded, heart pounding, can't put it down story!
What do You think about Teppefall (2008)?
Even though you think you know who the bad guy is - good twist, turns and suspense.
