I did not read the first one to this series and can say I’m not sure I really needed it to get into the story. Chloe was a null, or thought she was. Instead she was just a “late” bloomer, or her mate just knew how to bring her wolf ;) Jackson is new to the pack and is next in line to be alpha. After pretty much sleeping with the whole pack’s eligible females he found his mate in the last person he thought possible, or anyone for that matter…..Chloe. She’s tough to a point and a pretty okay heroine. A lot of the ladies aren’t happy to have lost their chance to be the next alpha’s leading lady, however it’s even worse because quite a few people believe her to be not only weak but an Omega wolf too. Her one main objector wants to challenge her to an archaic custom. Of course like all of that isnt’ enough, there is a rogue alpha collecting and killing females. This is a great follow-up the bring her wolf. If you haven't read Bring Her Wolf, read it first. In the previous book, Chloe was a null. This all changed with the help of Jackson who became her mate. During this book, we get to see Chloe grow into her wolf during this book. There was several up and downs during this book. Chloe has to fight for herself and Jackson a lot during this book. At the end, Jackson see what Chloe needs out of their relationship. This is a great read.
