**ARC**recieved for a honest review. Dear dairy...this story is written as if we are reading Lilah's dairy, her jounery of growing up. Tried of doing what everyone else wants, Lilah decided it is time to make changes. Leaving everything behind she is deterimed to go to college (Uni) and start HER life. On her first night Lilah makes a list of what to do and what not to do, to improve her life! First night -not so good. She meets the lead guitarist Ben and all list change. Can Delilah figure things out? This story is fun to read but very touching at the end even with the cliffhanger. 3.5 stars.This book was so easy to fall into. Anna’s writing style is very easy to jaunt along with and makes engaging with her characters very enjoyable. I absolutely loved listening to Lilah’s thoughts throughout this book. Her vernacular brought many a smile to my face. Choc full of British Idioms that really bring it home that this is a British read and I just loved that.I didn’t so much like the booze-fest that seems to go on but then that’s just me. I’ve never been one to drink to excess or that often and to read it happening so often in this book was a little bit ‘urghhhh not again…..’Ben was so easy to like, in fact all the characters were easy to like, drunken behaviour and all (although that did get to me). This whole book reads comedic but also with feelings, craziness and Uni drama and Lilah’s family drama. I feel it’s definitely a book geared to a younger audience ie teens to mid to late twenties to get the full enjoyment of the scenarios and booziness and the way you want to bang their heads together a few times ;0) with all the craziness! I honestly loved the British Slang and wit and that’s the core of what kept me invested in the story.Then I got to that ending? Ye Gads! Of course it’s left me very curious to know what happens next!
