The Big, Not-So-Small, Curvy Girls Dating Agency (Plush Daisies: BBW Romance, #1) (2000) - Plot & Excerpts

Mixed messages from the author.Becky is a curvy girl that is setting up a bbw dating site. Yet Becky hates her size. page 114. She wasn’t like the other girls he’d been with. She was round and full, soft, and curvy, and mostly fat. She was fat and ugly, fat and desperate to hide from him, terrified he’d reel in disgust. She couldn’t do this now… not yet. She needed to lose weight. She had to get serious about it this time, because how could he want to make love to somebody the size of a house? Not worth the effort to read as it will just get you confused. If you want a clean romance, this is not it. Look somewhere Else.I did not finish this book only because of the inappropriate content. It was far too inappropriate for my personal tastes. It looked like a fun, cute romance. I have to say, the author has a nice flow to her writing. It was quick and easy reading. But I had to stop.Language: more than I care to filter as I read.Sexual content: graphic sex scenes, also too much to skip, which is why I put it down. There were also a lot of little writing errors, but I could have overlooked them, if not for the other issues. No offense to the author, the immorality is just not for me.I did like the cute relationship growing between the couple. I liked the MC being a curvy gal. I am not one myself, but I have had 5 children, so I can sympathize with the feelings of depression at my own body. I have never had the experience of bullying for my size. And I am always so saddened that it happens. I appreciated that the author touched on that. I have a lot of friends who are curvy. They are all beautiful, wonderful women that I admire and love. Many of them are happily married to wonderful men, too. Size doesn't always interfere with relationships. Which is one of the reasons I picked this book up. I am not sorry for the reasons that I did not finish the book. I personally find it unnecessary to include that kind of graphic and immoral stuff in a book to make it good. But, this author was obviously not writing this for people like me. ;) I will stick with my good, old-fashioned, CLEAN romances.

What do You think about The Big, Not-So-Small, Curvy Girls Dating Agency (Plush Daisies: BBW Romance, #1) (2000)?

Very predictable and very short ending. Very easy read but lacking a big climax or plot twists.

Cute story. I probably won't bother reading any more of the series.
