The Blemished (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

This was a single sitting read for me. When I did have to put it down (for potty breaks) I found myself wondering what was going to happen. However I also must say that is very much a YA the plot and many of the characters felt pushed. Like she wanted to cram as much info and drama into the short novel as possible. That being said I did still enjoy the book, and will mostly likely continue the series. Premise was interesting but was ultimately let down with bland characters and cliche tropes. The main character is pretty much a mary-sue. Everybody constantly bullies her or has it out for her because they're either jealous or there's just something about her. Not interested in reading the rest of the series based on how well this book went. Don't particularly want to read about the set up love triangles.
