Like one of the other reviewers I picked this up on the strength of the blurb and went in expecting Melania to be the dominant half of the couple. That was the case for her working life but once the characters got to know each other everything flipped to the standard alpha male fare, which just wasn't what I was after this time around. The writing was sweet and the backdrop more interesting than in a lot of romance but ultimately I didn't find Devnar particularly likeable and the power dynamic had me tuning out. GAH. Just look at that cover. And that blurb. Now try reading an excerpt. I did all that and immediately had to buy the e-book for my Kindle. Then I read and went crazy for it. A couple of months after that, I found out the book was now available in print. I went crazy again, this time because I needed a copy SO BAD. Now I have it here with me and am incredibly happy. XDWhat are you waiting for??? Just read it!
