This is my favorite Hank the Cowdog book (so far). I'm sure I've read more than 25 books. Hank shows off his true cowdog skills. Mr. Erickson describes an intense confrontation with a bull that will keep you on the edge of your seat as you follow the moves of cowboy, horse, bull and dog. What about that little mutt, Drover? Does he get in on the action? The illustrations by Gerald Holmes are wonderful. Realistic with detail and wonderful lines and yet, comic and cartoony.This is a must read for every Hank fan.
