The Complete Emi Lost & Found Series (2014) - Plot & Excerpts
Truly a must read. I've read thousands of books and have watched thousands of movies - this is the second time through out all that, that I've sobbed. I mean I really cried, for a good half hour. At points where I stopped reading I just felt depressed... but other stopping points left me feeling alive, uplifted, encouraged. It's truly a wonderful series.Emi and Nate meet in high school... both are heart broken and pessimistic about life, but undeniably attracted to each other. They make a pact not to act out on their attraction due to where they are in their lives. For years, it works... they're the best of friends. Nate has always wanted more, but respects her. She finally realizes what she's missing out on, and finds her way to him. It's she too late? How much has she missed? You can't go back in time... you have to appreciate what you have, when you have it. This is the most emotional, heartwrenching story that I've ever read. I have read books before that touched me and caused some tears, but this series goes beyond any of them. This series is about friendship, love, loss, grief, moving on, finding love again and so much more. You will meet Emi, Nate, and Jack and be instantly drawn into their lives, feeling all their emotions along the way. Through this authors amazing writing the story and characters become so real that you will laugh with them and hurt with them. Have tissues ready, you will definitely need them.
