The Sweep series by Cate Tiernan has become one of my favorite series to recommend to people who are interested in magical YA-type series. Each novel is relatively short (or perhaps I was reading through them so quickly while I was immersed that I did not notice how long they were) which is great for reading before bedtime. The Wiccan actions and spells seem honest and even if you aren't interested in it, you do learn something from the herbal discussions, etc. I was entranced by the series. I really liked this series. (Although I had always been intrigued with the supernatural. I have to say that this series got me going on an adventure to read a lot more supernatural books.) The only thing I didn't really like was the ending of the series. It was kind of like going on a long adventurous hike that ended abruptly. One moment I am out with friends enjoying the scenery, company and all things being said and done then, WHAM!, fall off a cliff and there's no more. Can't even say I grabbed onto a tree hanging from the side of the cliff, I just fell and that was that. The End.Regardless, I will look for more of Cate Teirnan books and do suggest this series to anyone out there who likes and is curious about Wicca.
These are the books that got me in to science fic/fantasy i loved every single one of them. :)

I love the whole series. Sadly, I'm in the last book. Will miss Morgan and her friends.
