This is a short story telling the rescue of Joan of Arc by Scathach. If you've read the books than you'll be familiar with the rescue, but Scott hasn't gone into detail until this short story. While it was a good addition to the series it was kind of disappointing that it was told from an observer's point of view instead of Joan or Scatty's. It would have been interesting to know what was going through Joan's mind during that time. The story is super short, only about 17 pages, but t chock full of action! While the story within this mini-book / short story was good, I felt that the story could have been longer, and Michael Scott simply wrote this to appease readers in between novel releases, and as such wasn't quite at the level of his full-length novels.I'd still recommend it to anyone who loves the Nicholas Flamel series, however, as it does add an interesting tidbit to help fill in the timeline of the world within the series.
What do You think about The Death Of Joan Of Arc (2010)?
A quick, fun read. Nice little addition to a fun series.
