I've loved Billy the Kid since he first appeared in the series, and I have to say I loved this short story even more. It is longer than The Death of Joan of Arc, which I enjoyed as well, and it is every bit as much as I expected of it. Billy is such a fun character, and him teaming up with Scathac just made things all the more exciting. I was really thrilled to find out who Setanta was; it was one of those mysteries in the series that I really wanted to know about. Their short adventure was pretty astounding. A nice quick read :) I feel as though I need to go back and reread the whole series again. Billy the Kid is immortal and a human slave for one of the Elder demons. He is sent to meet up with Scatty to provide her with the pithe she has been looking for for hundreds of years. What Billy and Scatty don't know is this is all part of an elaborate trap. They end up heading to Vegas to face off against Scatty's former student (and love interest) and a bunch of vampyres.
Wasn't as enchanted by this eBook as the other one written in this genre.

Much better than the 4.5 book. Gave you many pages of excitement.

My only complaint is it was too short! I want more!
