As a fan of the Something Borrowed and Something Blue books featuring Darcy and Rachel, figured I would read this too to get some insight into their lives pre-college. Darcy was just as self involved (but endearingly loyal to Rachel) as she was as an adult - but on an elevated level because she's a teenager.It's super short so you might as well if you're looking for a quick read (I'm talking 40 something pages) but on the other hand, you're not missing anything if you don't. I really liked something blue and something borrowed so i gave this one a shot (even though i wished it was rachel's diary and not darcy's) to see how the first interaction with dex was. Unfortunately this one stops right before college so i didn't found what i was coming for. I rate this one 1 star out of five, since it ended with "to be continued" i'm expecting to see a sequel with darcy meeting dex.
