Ummm no. Totally not feeling this book. The first time she meets the antihero (the leader of all of Australia's mafia) he is getting a blow job in his office and once he kicks the whore out of his office (after he has finished) he tells the heroine she is to be his mistress to pay her brothers debts, he pushes the heroine against the wall, and makes her come and the heroine is TOTALLY OKAY with it all because he's hot. Ummmmm. . . This dude totally just mutilated and disfigured your baby brother and your jumping his bones like you haven't known him for a total of 2 minutes? Get outta here with that insta-love/lust crap. She jumps into his world in a few hours like it was nothing, like he didn't hurt her brother, like she's been wanting this her whole life. There was ZERO transitioning. It just didn't feel realistic. You would've thought she would've fought him on it, been upset and angry, would've fought the situation and refused him when he came on to her but no, not this chick. The more I read of the heroine, the more I disliked her. Then on top of that the antihero is pushing 50 years old, unfortunately that's not my cup of tea. Sorely disappointed this one ended up as a DNF. Eight mother stinking times I have read this great freaking book. Words can't describe how much I love the Don and his magical rosary beads. Yes some uptight people may be like oh I can't believe he did that. All I can think about is, can I please have The Don...like for Christmas, New Years, Valentines, and my Birthday because seriously I absolutely love this hot brooding male who loves with a fierceness he doesn't even relaize he's capable of doing.Sierra is a hard working girl just trying to make ends meet and take care of her sick mother, and help her brother. Only she doesn't realize the multitude of what she's really in for when her brother takes from The Don to try and help her.Against her brother's advice she goes to The Don, Sebastiano (insert panty dropping grin here) and pays his debt for him, the only way Sebastiano will allow her, as his mistress. What she wasn't expect is for him to bring out her sexual side, and for her to like his dominating ways, but really who can resist this man. Surely not Sierra. When the unexpected happens, The Don really shows his side. The raging beast, and the lover in all things Sierra. The dynamics in this book are utterly amazing. The playfullness, the comedy, the romance, and good night the sex! Have your man or your vibrator ready because you will definitely need it.
What do You think about The Don: Sebastiano (2000)?
