The theme of this book is that even what seems like a horrible trait can have some good in it, and to not judge a book by its cover. I thought it was really cool that the characters in this book were the children of the characters in the past ones. I didn't like the characters quite as much, though. They made the past characters seem old, which I didn't like. It was a great plot, but I didn't love the way the characters turned out. Still, I really enjoyed the reading about the next generation and their journeys. Oh dear god. This cd finally ended. The only reason why it got a 3 is because the younger set *loved* it. Some children's books should be read by adults. Some should not. But. E.D. Baker has captured the target audience with this series.Milly is a princess who, when angry, becomes a dragon. Can she control it? Only with help. Thus she begins an adventure with her cousin, best friend (who also can turn into a bat) and a 2 headed ogre as they search for wisdom in the snowy North. My 7 year old adored it, my 11 year old thought it was good. I endured. In other words, a good read for the tween set.
What do You think about The Dragon Princess (2008)?
This story is just too cute! A must read for anyone who's into dragons!
