The Einstein Theory Of Relativity (2004) - Plot & Excerpts

This was a largely math-free account of several experiments that verified Einstein's theory of relativity, and various aspects of the theory itself. It isn't exactly light reading, and took a little thinking at in my case, but it does give some interesting insights into the theory's qualities, as related by another noteworthy scientist contemporary to Einstein. Overall, it was interesting but not particularly stand-out in any way. It was interesting to read about the Theory of Relativity from the perspective of a scientist contemporary of Einstein's. It is easy to read, and is intended for an audience who has only basic scientific knowledge. It doesn't cover the theory in great detail; the goal is to help people understand the basic meaning of the theory and how it was validated by experiment. Since it was written 90 years ago, some of the science in the book has changed (ie. the cosmic aether) which adds a quaint feeling to the book.
