I was really excited to get a chance to read a review copy of Lily Everett’s novella and am very grateful to the publisher for approving me for a review copy from NetGalley.I loved this fast-paced novella about Penny and Dylan. They had great chemistry from the very beginning. I was worried Dylan keeping it secret who he really was would doom them as a couple. I understood due to Penny's past not being big on second chances, and was really glad Dylan was willing to work and stay and fight for their relationship.I personally can't wait to see what happens in the next 2 novellas when we get Miles and Logan's stories. A perfect read for an afternoon! I was drawn in from the start and didn't put this down until I got to the end. Reformed bad boys are among my absolute favorites, and this novella doesn't disappoint. The only drawback is that now I have to wait for the next one! This story will make you want to be a part of the community on Sanctuary Island. Perfect summer read-- I am eagerly awaiting the next story in this series.
Received an ARC courtesy of St. Martin's Press via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

Sweet little short story! Made my eyes a little watery in a couple places. Nice quick read.
