I wasn't sure about this book, but I read it in one of my book clubs!! Turned out really good!! Shifter falls for a human, who is also a scientist..They have a wild weekend (as she is paid to watch over him to make sure he is safe)Well, feelings get in the way, but he is human and shifters can not be w a human... So does he take the news well and take things in his own hands?? It is a good, easy read.. With HEA!! Lexie has a special talent for bodyguard duty, being a werewolf helps. However, she is surprised to find herself attracted to her latest job, a geeky scientist who is also a human. Anthony doesn't know what to make of the woman who has looks, brains, and strength. He's surprised that she's interested in him and at what the woman brings out in him. However, he is shocked to find out that not only was she paid to play his girlfriend in order to protect him, but that she is a werewolf. Will the werewolf put aside her human/werewolf relationship ideas or will the human do something crazy for the one he loves?Overall I though that this was a pretty good book. I have read one of Eve Langlais other books and really enjoyed it. There was a plot line that was pretty action packed which I liked because it added to the book. The sex scenes were really steamy throughout the whole book, but not as steamy as Claiming Her Geeks. There wasn't much I didn't like about the book. I would recommend this book if I knew the person enjoyed shifter books. I would definitely read it again, along with trying some of her other books. I gave it four stars instead of five because I don't think that it has something for everyone and everyone mood. But I still thought that it was a great read.
What do You think about The Geek Job (2011)?
A fun steamy read. Nothing that knocked my socks off, but a great pick-me-up book for sure.
